In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, finishes, and drywall installations across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, taping, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and drywall finish quality Apply primer, paint, stains, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and attention to detail Install drywall panels, tape joints, mud seams, sand surfaces smoothly for a flawless finish Perform finishing tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and plastering to achieve desired aesthetics Operate hand tools and power tools safely for cutting, sanding, mixing materials, and fixture installation Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute wall layouts, drywall cuts, and surface treatments Conduct construction inspection to ensure work complies with project specifications and safety standards while coordinating with other trades like plumbing, electrical, masonry, roofing, and heavy equipment operators Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting, drywall installation, finishing or related trades with familiarity in construction site environments Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., trowels, putty knives), power tools (e.g., drills, sanders), and heavy equipment operation when necessary Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise project execution Knowledge of construction estimating and management principles is a plus Familiarity with materials such as concrete forming products, fabrications like cabinetry or fixtures installation, masonry techniques including tile laying or stucco application Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; able to adapt quickly to changing project needs Join us in creating beautiful spaces while advancing your skills in a vibrant construction environment!
