Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Perform trim carpentry, fixture installation, and basic carpentry tasks such as framing or renovation work to support aesthetic improvements Use construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, and time requirements for each job Requirements Proven experience in residential painting along with knowledge of commercial or industrial painting techniques Familiarity with construction site procedures including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and masonry or stucco application Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety equipment necessary for construction painting projects Strong understanding of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects and precise color matching Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and estimations accurately Knowledge of caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and maintenance tasks related to residential environments Valid construction site experience with an emphasis on safety protocols and quality standards Embark on a fulfilling career where your craftsmanship makes a real difference!
