Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Painter Helper and be an essential part of transforming spaces! In this energetic role, you will support experienced painters in preparing and finishing residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Duties Assist painters with surface preparation including sanding, scraping, and cleaning surfaces before painting begins Mix paints and primers accurately according to project specifications, applying basic math skills Prepare work areas by covering floors and furniture with drop cloths; set up ladders and scaffolding safely Handle hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, caulking guns, and putty knives efficiently Support the application of paint using airless paint spraying equipment or brushes for residential, commercial, or industrial projects Assist in plastering, stucco application, and basic masonry tasks to ensure smooth finishes Read blueprints or schematics to understand project requirements; follow safety protocols on construction sites Qualifications Prior experience in construction painting or related fields such as renovation or handyman work is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with construction site safety practices and ability to work at heights on scaffolding or ladders Basic math skills for measuring paint quantities and material calculations Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and painting equipment including airless sprayers is advantageous Ability to read schematics or blueprints for project guidance Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality; team-oriented attitude with good communication skills Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks throughout the day Join us in creating beautiful spaces!
