Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Painter to join our team, dedicated to transforming spaces with skillful craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to various surfaces in residential and commercialsettings. Your expertise will help bring renovation projects to life, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client expectations and safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from small repairs to large-scale restorations, utilizing your technical skills and passion for craftsmanship. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and repairing imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and schematics to determine the scope of work and select appropriate materials. Apply paints, stains, primers, sealers, and specialty coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools. Execute residential painting projects including interior walls, ceilings, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and restoration work. Perform commercial and industrial painting tasks on construction sites involving scaffolding, stucco application, masonry finishing, concrete finishing, and welding as needed. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project requirements accurately and manage time efficiently on-site. Conduct maintenance tasks such as drywall repair, renovation touch-ups, framing carpentry, caulking sealing joints, and masonry work to support ongoing projects. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to construction site experience and proper handling of tools and materials. Experience Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings with a strong understanding of construction site protocols. Skilled in reading blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution. Hands-on experience with hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers; power tools including airless sprayers; and specialized equipment like scaffolding or welding tools. Knowledge of color theory for selecting appropriate finishes that meet aesthetic standards. Familiarity with renovation processes including plastering, restoration work, fixture installation, framing carpentry, stucco application, masonry finishing, concrete finishing and remodeling projects. Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities effectively. Additional handyman experience or skills in carpentry (trim carpentry or frame carpentry) is preferred to support diverse project needs.
