Job Description
Position Overview:
King Painting is seeking dependable and hardworking Painters to join our team. In this role, you'll support painting projects from start to finish, helping deliver high-quality results while working in a team-focused environment. We're looking for individuals who take pride in their work, value safety, and are eager to learn and grow.Key Responsibilities:
Team Support & Daily Tasks:
Work as part of a painting crew to complete assigned tasks Follow direction from foreman or project manager Assist with daily job site setup, ensuring tools and materials are ready Help maintain productivity and meet project timelines Communicate with team members about progress and any issues Represent the company professionally with clients and other tradesTechnical Duties:
Perform surface preparation including sanding, scraping, patching, and masking Apply paint, stains, and coatings using brush, roller, or spray equipment Maintain job site cleanliness and organization Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE usage Assist with handling and maintaining equipment such as ladders, sprayers, and scaffolding Support final touch-ups and punch list items as directedCustomer Interaction:
Be respectful and professional on all job sites Interact politely with clients when needed Report any client concerns or questions to foreman or management Maintain strong communication with team members and leadershipQualifications:
1+ year of painting experience preferred (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply) Basic knowledge of painting tools and techniques is a plus Willingness to learn and take direction Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the day Comfortable working on ladders and in various environments Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Willingness to travel is a plusBenefits & Perks:
