Willow Valley Communities (WVC) is seeking a skilled Full Time Painter to join our Construction and Renovations team. In this hands-on role, you'll help maintain and enhance our campuses by performing painting, wallpapering, drywall, and minor carpentry work in both public spaces and residential apartments—making a visible difference every day. Responsibilities:
Reads work order or receives instructions from Team Leader regarding painting. Completes work assigned by work order, Manager, apartment turnover schedule and painting maintenance schedule. Keeps Team Leader informed of paint and supply needs. Prepares all surfaces prior to painting or wallpapering as job requires or manufacturer recommends. Fills nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other filler. Removes fixtures such as pictures and electric switch covers from walls prior to painting. Installs closet doors and cover plates upon painting completion. Uses drop cloths and or painters tape in areas requiring protection from paint. Paints surfaces with brushes, spray gun, or paint rollers. Performs minor drywall removal, installation, finishing and repair. Erects scaffolding or sets up ladders to perform tasks above ground level. Removes carpet and pad from apartments. Uses materials in accordance with blueprints. Keeps tools and work area neat. Keeps records current with respect to material changes. Updates files.
Qualifications:
Must have 1-3 years Residential/commercial painting experience required (other than painting in your own home) Drywall repair experience Must have a valid PA driver's license Basic computer skills Excellent social/customer service skills Hours 40 hours per week Schedule Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Location The Lakes Campus of Willow Valley CommunitiesWillow Street, PA
