House Painter

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing cracks
• Mix, match, and apply paints and other finishes to various surfaces
• Use brushes, rollers, or spray guns to apply coats of paint or other finishes
• Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
• Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area Qualifications
• Proven experience as a painter or similar role
• Knowledge of painting techniques and tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
• Strong communication skills

Skills:

• Fixture installation: Ability to install various fixtures such as light fixtures, ceiling fans, etc.

• Caulking:

  Proficient in applying caulk to seal gaps and joints in various surfaces
• Frame carpentry: Experience in constructing or repairing wooden frames for doors, windows, etc.
• Trim carpentry: Proficiency in installing and finishing trim work such as baseboards, crown molding, etc.
• Construction estimating: Ability to estimate materials and labor costs for painting projects

Maintenance Person:

General knowledge of various maintenance person tasks such as minor repairs, installations, etc. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties and qualifications. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on the needs of the company.
