Overview Join our dynamic team as a Painter and bring vibrant visions to life across residential, commercial, and renovation projects! As a Painter, you will be instrumental in transforming spaces with precision and creativity, ensuring every project meets high standards of quality and durability. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using hand tools and power tools such as airless sprayers, brushes, rollers, and scaffolding. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately follow project specifications for both residential and commercial sites. Perform restoration work including drywall repair, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry touch-ups, and fixture installation. Execute specialized painting tasks such as industrial painting, concrete finishing, welding prep work, and working with schematics for complex projects. Assist with remodeling projects by supporting carpentry tasks like framing or renovation work on construction sites. Maintain safety standards on construction sites by using proper equipment handling techniques and adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in residential and commercial painting with a strong understanding of construction estimating principles. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools—including airless paint sprayers—and scaffolding for various applications. Knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects and precise color matching. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately for project execution. Experience with plastering, caulking, stucco application, restoration work, and fixture installation preferred. Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and basic math skills for measurements and estimations.
