This position is also responsible for ensuring apartments are painted and made ready for move-in, as well as assisting the maintenance team with service requests as needed. Familiar with a variety of the department's concepts, practices, and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Paints the interiors and exteriors of apartments, interior hallways and community spaces in accordance with company guidelines and responding to them promptly, efficiently, and professionally. Completes drywall repairs ass needed in apartments, interior hallways and common area spaces in accordance with company guidelines, responding to them promptly, efficiently, and professionally. Ensures all work areas are neat, clean, and orderly after painting or when work orders have otherwise been completed. Ensures maintenance supplies are in stock and, at direction from supervisor, orders supplies while staying within planned budget. Assists supervisor with scheduling and communicating with vendors and contractors and may assist in obtaining bids from outside contractors as well as oversee contractor work. Schedules, monitors, and performs work order requests from supervisor, community staff and residents as needed. Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas. Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests. Participate in safety and job training as requested and required. Conducts safety and job training Other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Residential painting experience required Success Factors Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Highly responsible & reliable. Exceptional customer service orientation Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Outgoing personality with the ability to be flexible and interact with all levels of management and associates. Physical Demands Stand, walk, kneel for long periods of time and be able to climb stairs throughout the day Frequently reach with hands and arms, balance, and stoop. Effectively lift or move objects weighing a minimum of 40 lbs. •hiring range for this position is $25.00-$30.00 based on experience.
