$ 17.99/hr We are seeking a dependable Summer Help Painter to assist with resident room turns and light painting projects within our long-term care community during the summer months. This role plays an important part in ensuring resident rooms are refreshed, clean, and move-in ready while maintaining a safe and respectful environment for residents and staff. This position is ideal for individuals looking for hands-on summer work who take pride in their work, have attention to detail and quality finishes. Responsibilities Prepare resident rooms following move-outs and transfers Paint resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas as assigned Perform surface preparation including patching, sanding, caulking, and priming Match existing paint colors and finishes as needed Protect floors, furniture, and fixtures during painting projects Clean painting tools, equipment, and work areas daily Safely use ladders, hand tools, and painting equipment Follow infection control, safety, and facility protocols Effectively communicate with maintenance and nursing staff to coordinate room availability Maintain a respectful presence around residents and families Who You Are Previous painting or maintenance experience preferred, but not required Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail Comfortable performing physical work Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and reach for extended periods Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic Willingness to follow safety and healthcare facility guidelines Your Life At Dow Rummel Village 403(b) Retirement Plan with Match
