Position Overview:

As a Stainer, Painter, Finisher at Schoenhards Custom Cabinetry Inc., you will play a crucial role in the finishing process of our custom cabinetry projects. You will be responsible for staining, painting, and applying finishes to our cabinetry to ensure a flawless and beautiful end result for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for staining and painting by sanding, filling, and priming as needed Select and mix paints and stains to achieve desired colors and finishes Apply stains, paints, and finishes using various techniques, such as spraying, brushing, or rolling Ensure even coverage and smooth finish on all cabinetry pieces Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or adjustments Follow safety protocols and guidelines to protect yourself and others in the workplace Maintain a clean and organized work environment Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional results

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a stainer, painter, or finisher in a woodworking or cabinetry setting Knowledge of different types of stains, paints, and finishes, as well as their application techniques Ability to mix and match colors accurately to achieve desired results Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality craftsmanship Strong work ethic and ability to meet project deadlines Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience with woodworking tools and equipment is a plus
