Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential painting and construction site work, with a strong understanding of color theory and fixture installation. This role involves not only painting but also renovating and restoring spaces to meet our clients' needs. The Painter/Laborer will work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality results on various projects. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint using various techniques, including airless paint spraying, to achieve desired finishes. Assist in the renovation and restoration of residential properties, ensuring adherence to project specifications. Install fixtures and perform basic remodeling tasks as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed on construction sites. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Utilize basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities needed for jobs. Skills Proficiency in residential painting techniques and airless paint spraying. Knowledge of color theory to assist in selecting appropriate paint colors for projects. Experience with fixture installation and basic remodeling tasks is preferred. Ability to work on construction sites while adhering to safety standards. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to painting projects. Willingness to learn new skills related to renovation and restoration processes.
