Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Apartment Painter Subcontractor to join our team and help transform residential spaces through expert painting and finishing work. As an integral part of our renovation and maintenance projects, you will bring apartments to life with vibrant colors, smooth finishes, and professional craftsmanship. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in residential and commercial painting, working on diverse apartment renovation projects that require precision, efficiency, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer as needed to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment to achieve high-quality results. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project specifications and accurately execute painting plans. Perform trim fixture installation and drywall finishing to enhance the aesthetic appeal of apartments. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope and materials needed while maintaining efficiency on-site. Requirements Proven experience in residential painting with a strong understanding of construction site procedures and safety standards. Knowledge of color theory to select appropriate hues and finishes that meet client specifications. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise application of paint and finishes. Familiarity with various construction techniques including plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, restoration work, and fixture installation. Experience working on commercial or industrial painting projects is a plus. Competence with hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers; power tools including airless sprayers and basic math skills for measurements.
