The ideal candidate will have experience working in commercial environments and be knowledgeable in surface preparation, coatings, and applying paint safely and efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Essential Job Functions may include the following or other duties as assigned:
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming
    • Apply paints, stains, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
    • Perform interior and exterior painting for commercial properties
    • Mask, tape, and protect surfaces to ensure clean finishes
    • Operate and maintain painting tools and equipment
    • Follow blueprints, specifications, and client instructions
    • Ensure work is completed on time and meets quality standards
    • Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety regulations
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
    Qualifications:
    • 5 years of commercial painting experience preferred
    • Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation
    • Experience with spraying equipment, coatings, and finishes
    • Ability to work at heights (ladders, scaffolding, lifts)
    • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
    • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
    • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with drywall repair or light carpentry
    • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
    • Experience working on large-scale commercial projects
    • Leadership experience (for lead painter roles)
    Pay:
    $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
