Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented lead painter/finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and finishing techniques, both rolled on water based paints and sprayed lacquer. Ensuring that each project meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. This role requires a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Looking for someone with a wide net of experience who can bring solutions to a variety of projects. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and applying primer or sealant as needed. Color match pantones, client samples and different paint brands Apply stains, paints, or finishes to cabinets using various tools and techniques to achieve desired results. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary to meet specifications. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and guidelines. Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation and finishing processes. Experience Proven experience in cabinet finishing or related fields such as construction painting, flooring installation, or carpentry is preferred. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety practices is essential. Experience with siding, mold remediation, metal stud framing, masonry, and plastering is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
