Rental Make-Ready / Painter Emory, TX, Grand Saline TX, Canton TX (Travel between properties as needed) About the Role Northeast Texas Investments is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Rental Make-Ready / Painter to prepare rental homes for new residents. This position focuses on painting, repairs, cleaning coordination, and ensuring homes are move-in ready. Responsibilities Interior and exterior painting Patch, texture, and sheetrock repairs Make-ready and turnover preparation between tenants Basic maintenance and minor repairs Replace fixtures, hardware, blinds, and flooring as needed Coordinate with vendors and contractors Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards Maintain tools, supplies, and clean work areas Assist with property improvements and renovations Qualifications Experience in residential painting and make-ready work preferred Basic knowledge of maintenance, repairs, and hand tools Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Consistent, year-round work Mileage reimbursement when applicable Paid time off and benefits available for eligible employees Opportunity for advancement within a growing company Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who takes ownership, works efficiently without constant supervision, and treats each property as if it were their own.
