Experienced Painter

Job Description:

Home Reimagined General Contractors is looking for an experienced painter who can also handle basic to intermediate sheetrock repair for residential and light commercial projects in the San Antonio area. This role is for someone who understands that a quality paint job starts with solid prep. We need a painter who can properly repair damaged walls, patch problem areas, prep surfaces the right way, and deliver a clean finished product.

Responsibilities:

Perform interior and exterior painting on residential and commercial jobs Repair damaged sheetrock including holes, cracks, dents, tape issues, and texture touch-ups Prep surfaces by sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, priming, masking, and protecting surrounding areas Apply coatings by brush, roller, and sprayer Match existing textures where needed Keep jobsites clean, organized, and professional Work with crew leads and management to complete punch list items and stay on schedule

Qualifications:

Professional painting experience required Must have experience with sheetrock patching and wall repair Able to handle prep work without cutting corners Familiar with interior repaints, trim work, doors, walls, ceilings, and exterior surfaces Able to produce clean lines and consistent finishes Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Professional attitude on occupied jobsites

Preferred:

Spray experience Texture matching experience Experience on make-readies, remodels, or tenant turn projects

Pay:

Competitive, based on experience

$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
