As a key leader on our team, you will coordinate painting crews, ensure safety standards are met, and deliver exceptional results that transform spaces. Your expertise in construction painting, color theory, and surface preparation will drive project success from start to finish. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship while leading a team dedicated to excellence in every brushstroke. Responsibilities Lead and supervise painting crews on various construction and renovation sites, ensuring timely completion of projects. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint using hand tools, power tools, airless spray equipment, and other methods suited for diverse surfaces including stucco, masonry, drywall, and wood trim. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope, color schemes, and technical specifications. Perform detailed finishing work such as trim carpentry, fixture installation, restoration tasks, and masonry repairs to enhance overall project quality. Maintain safety protocols on-site by using proper equipment and ensuring team adherence to OSHA standards. Estimate materials needed for each project accurately and collaborate with project managers for resource planning. Experience Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects with a strong background in construction site environments. Skilled in construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math for accurate measurements and calculations. Hands-on expertise with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, welding techniques, and concrete finishing tools. Knowledge of surface preparation techniques including plastering, caulking, stucco application, restoration work, and remodeling processes. Familiarity with industrial painting procedures and fixture installation is a plus. Previous leadership experience managing painting teams or crews on large-scale projects is highly desirable. Strong understanding of color theory to advise clients or team members on color selections that meet design specifications.
