The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and construction, as well as leadership skills. This role requires overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring quality control, and managing a team of painters. The Lead Painter will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of workmanship while adhering to safety regulations. Duties Supervise and manage painting crews on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Read and interpret scope of work to understand project requirements. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work meets industry standards and client specifications. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Utilize tools such as hoppers, compressors, nail guns, and various types of saws, etc. for specific tasks related to painting projects. Requirements Proven experience in construction management with a focus on painting projects. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a team effectively. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and budgeting practices. Knowledge of required safety practices on construction sites. Excellent skills in scope of work interpretation, quality control measures, and project management. Ability to communicate clearly with team members, clients, and other stakeholders. Previous experience working on construction sites is required. Reliable transportation is required. Must provide professional references.
