Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Painter and bring vibrant visions to life through expert craftsmanship! In this role, you will be responsible for transforming surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial spaces with precision and flair. Your expertise in various painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing will ensure our projects stand out with quality and durability. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine the scope of work and color schemes in line with client specifications Perform construction painting tasks on new builds, renovations, restorations, and maintenance projects across residential and commercial sites Execute finishing touches such as trim carpentry, fixture installation, stucco application, masonry work, and drywall restoration to enhance overall aesthetics Use construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for timely completion Maintain safety standards by properly handling tools like scaffolding, welding equipment, concrete finishing tools, and power saws while adhering to site protocols Experience Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial coating projects with a solid understanding of construction site operations Skilled in surface preparation techniques including plastering, sanding, caulking, and masonry work Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics to interpret project plans accurately Hands-on experience with hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers; power tools including spray guns and sanders; and specialized equipment like airless paint sprayers Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate color schemes for various spaces Background in renovation projects involving remodeling, restoration work, framing carpentry, drywall finishing or masonry is highly desirable Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and estimations accurately Additional handyman experience such as fixture installation or maintenance tasks is a plus Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier craftsmanship!
