This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction painting, surface preparation, and finishing work. As a Painter Helper, you will assist with various tasks to ensure high-quality results while gaining valuable experience in the construction industry. Duties Assist lead painters with surface preparation, including sanding, scraping, and masking to ensure smooth paint application Mix paints and primers accurately following color theory principles to achieve desired finishes Handle hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, and applying stucco or plastering materials Support the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Help with blueprint reading and schematics to understand project specifications and painting requirements Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or repairing damaged areas for optimal paint adhesion Assist with the installation of fixtures, trim carpentry, or restoration work as needed on various projects Requirements Have your own painting tools Experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment Familiarity with residential and commercial painting techniques Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working at heights if necessary Strong attention to detail with good communication skills to follow instructions accurately Prior handyman experience or background in remodeling, renovation, or maintenance is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career path where your contributions directly impact beautiful transformations!
