Painter

Morgan Hunt are seeking skilled and reliable Painters to join our Housing Maintenance team within a large local authority. The role involves working across a range of residential properties, including void (empty) homes and tenanted properties, helping to maintain and improve housing standards across the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out all aspects of painting and decorating, including surface preparation, emulsion, glossing, and finishing Prepare and redecorate void properties ready for new tenants Undertake maintenance and redecoration work in occupied homes Ensure high-quality finishes in line with required standards Identify and report any additional maintenance issues within properties Work safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations Deliver a professional and respectful service when working in tenanted properties

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Painter, ideally within social housing or maintenance Ability to carry out a wide range of decorating tasks to a high standard Good knowledge of materials, techniques, and surface preparation Full UK driving licence (van provided for work use) Strong attention to detail and time management skills Good communication and customer service skills
