Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for reliable, hardworking paint preppers and HVLP painters to support our paint technicians with a few commercial projects. The ideal candidate will help prepare surfaces, mask with paper and plastic, maintain tools, and assist the lead painter in delivering high-quality results. This is an active construction site; hard hat, safety vest, boots, safety glasses and gloves are mandatory!
Responsibilities:
Prepare work areas by covering floors, furniture, and fixtures Clean and prepare surfaces (sanding, scraping, filling holes) Carry and organize painting materials and equipment Clean tools and maintain a tidy work environment Bondo repair Follow safety guidelines and instructions from the lead painter or project manager
Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods Good attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn Ability to work well with a team and have a positive attitude Drug test PPE (steel toe boots, hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, and gloves) Proficiency in English Previous construction or painting experience is an advantage, but not required
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly pay On-the-job training Friendly team environment Opportunity to gain experience in the painting and construction industry Candidates with previous construction experience will get preference. Basic background checks will be performed before admission to project is granted! This is a 1099 contract position! Guaranteed 40 hours per week with possible overtime, if approved by the GC.
Starting pay:
$20 per hour or more based on experience.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
