Make the Environment Feel Like Home On any given day, you might prepare and paint resident apartments for new move-ins, refresh common areas, complete touch-ups throughout the community, or collaborate with maintenance teams on larger projects. Your work directly impacts first impressions, resident satisfaction, and overall community pride. In this role, you'll manage painting projects across three campuses, ensuring consistency in quality, timely completion of work orders, and attention to detail that enhances each space.You will:
Perform interior and exterior painting, staining, and finishing work across all three communities Perform scheduled painting and wallcovering in apartments and common areas Prepare and restore surfaces in vacant units to support move-in readiness Complete drywall repairs, patching, sanding, and surface preparation Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, caulking, priming, minor repairs) Maintain common areas with routine painting, touch-ups, and repairs Match paint colors and finishes for consistency throughout the community Use the work order system to manage and complete assigned tasks Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas with minimal disruption to residents Follow OSHA safety standards and proper equipment/material handling Identify and report maintenance issues requiring additional support Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed Provide professional, resident-focused service at all times Perform other duties as assigned What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of painting or general maintenance experience preferred Experience with interior/exterior painting, drywall repair, and surface preparation Ability to use power tools and painting equipment Basic understanding of OSHA safety standards Proven experience in residential or commercial painting Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and materials Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple locations Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship Valid driver's license and ability to travel between assigned communities Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is a plus Ability to read and speak English Why This Role Matters Your work helps create environments that feel safe, clean, and welcoming for residents and their families.
