In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure high-quality craftsmanship. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong understanding of painting techniques, surface preparation, and safety protocols. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment (including airless paint spraying), and hand tools. Perform surface repairs such as plastering, caulking, masonry work, or drywall restoration to create a smooth finish. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for each job. Conduct renovation work including fixture installation, trim carpentry, stucco application, and masonry repairs. Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations and using proper personal protective equipment on construction sites. Operate power tools and hand tools efficiently for various tasks including framing, carpentry, or concrete finishing. Assist with maintenance tasks around the site or facility as needed with handyman experience. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Experience Professional experience using sprayers along with proper cleaning and maintenance. Proven experience in residential painting with knowledge of color theory and finishing techniques. Hands-on experience in commercial or industrial painting projects across construction sites or renovation projects. Skilled in surface preparation techniques such as plastering, caulking, stucco application, and masonry work. Experience operating construction tools including power tools (e.g., sanders, drills), airless sprayers, welding equipment (a plus), and hand tools. Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to painting projects and material calculations. Background working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols and site-specific procedures.
