Painter

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial painting projects, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques and surface preparation. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including renovation, restoration, and new construction, utilizing a wide range of tools and materials. Candidates should possess a solid foundation in construction-related skills and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Duties Prepare surfaces by masking, patching, sanding, and caulking. Apply paint, stain, and primer using brushes, rollers, airless spray equipment, or other tools to achieve high-quality finishes. Climb extension ladders, work from boom lifts and off scaffolding Perform tasks such as back rolling and paint touch up Conduct surface repairs including drywall patching, sanding, and restoration work to ensure smooth finishes. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for surface preparation and finishing tasks. Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within scope. Experience Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or new construction painting. Hands-on experience with various hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, maskers, and brushes. Experience with scaffolding setup and working at heights is desirable. Additional skills in first aid, lift operation, airless paint spraying, carpentry, siding, drywall are considered valuable assets for this role.
