Overview Join our dynamic team as a Painter Helper and be a vital part of transforming spaces through skilled craftsmanship and teamwork! In this energetic role, you'll assist experienced painters in preparing surfaces, handling tools, and executing both residential and commercial painting projects. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to high-quality finishes that brighten and restore environments. Responsibilities Assist lead painters with surface preparation including sanding, scraping, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion Mix paints, stains, and primers accurately following color theory principles for consistent results Handle hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and caulking guns with precision and safety Support the application of paint using airless paint spraying equipment for large projects Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, covering furniture, and protecting surrounding areas during painting tasks Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and ensure accurate execution Perform minor carpentry tasks like trim carpentry, fixture installation, or drywall repairs as needed for renovation projects Skills Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist in project planning and material management Familiarity with residential and commercial painting techniques including industrial painting and restoration work Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings confidently Experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and safety protocols on construction sites Basic math skills for measuring surfaces, calculating paint quantities, and mixing colors accurately Understanding of plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and concrete finishing is a plus Hands-on experience with caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, welding, or airless spray systems enhances versatility This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to learn the trade while contributing to impactful projects.
