Job Description

Having industrial paint experience is a plus, but we would be willing to train the right individual. Summary of Job:
Our team is growing!! We are adding a 2nd shift and we are looking for qualified painters to join our team. We currently have a batch style Powder Paint Booth and are currently in process of putting in a liquid paint booth. The individuals in our paint department are responsible for full paint process, from inspecting parts, hanging parts, washing parts, drying parts, painting parts, inspecting finished parts and packaging. This individual must have a good eye for detail, patience, organization skills, be a team player, and take great pride in what they do!
Shift Details:
10 Hour Shift Monday - Thursday 2 p.m. - 12 a.m.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform assigned tasks Operate a Forklift Inspect Parts before painting and after painting Follow instructions for assembly of parts and components Prep parts for coating by masking, plugging holes and hanging parts Evenly Apply primer and paint Push/Pull frames filled with parts in and out of paint booth and oven Paint while crouching, kneeling, bending or in other awkward positions Inspect parts for any unpainted areas Repair defects in painted parts Hand sand, file, grind, and repaint parts when necessary Clean and maintain spray guns, paint booths, and equipment daily Be responsible for preventive maintenance on nozzles, hoses, pumps and filtration system Must maintain a clean and safe working environment Use and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or HSED required Experience working with basic hand tools and pneumatic tools Ability to lift 75 lbs. Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours Ability to bend, stretch and lean Key Abilities Needed to be
Successful:
1 - 3 years of experience is preferred but not necessary Perform assigned tasks Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills Assist teammates with lifting heavy parts Recognize and react to abnormalities Use and control tool for painting and spraying Ability to demonstrate knowledge in every step of the paint process Ability to read blue prints Keep tasks in sequence and within safety constraints The above are some but not all of requirements of the job
