MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE

1. Five (5) years of commercial painting experience.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. Conducts regular rounds of all areas of the hospital, office building, and support service buildings to identify needs for repair of paint, walls, and wall coverings. 2. Paints, patches and repairs wall coverings as required. 3. Inspects and maintains safety markings on curbs and cross walks at least annually 4. Maintains painting materials and equipment in good operating condition 5. Maintains an appropriate inventory of paint and supplies and obtains pricing for items to be ordered. 6. Will be required to assist other facility related positions and special work teams when necessary. 7. Has access to, and is responsible for, performing assigned duties in locked medication rooms. This position is aware that they are not responsible for medications and should report any unsecured medications to a licensed professional. 8. Works with management to develop procedures and controls designed to assure safe use, storage and handling of painting supplies.

Demonstrates knowledge of and ability to follow attendance/ punctuality/ timecard system/scheduling policies. 8. Demonstrate knowledge of parking/hospital department locations. 9. Demonstrate knowledge and adheres to dress code. 10. Demonstrates knowledge of Compliance Program/Code of Conduct/Confidentiality. 11. Demonstrates knowledge of Emergency Management Plan. 12. Demonstrates knowledge of physical health/wellness information and Exposure Control Plan 13. Demonstrates knowledge of Office/workplace safety. 14. Demonstrates knowledge of Risk Management/Occurrence Report Practices/Non-punitive Work Environment.
