Welder - Minesite

Join our crew supporting one of Alaska's most critical gold mines. We're hiring skilled Welders to handle tank and structural repairs. Earn $30-$35/hr, with overtime opportunities available.

What We Offer:

Paid MSHA training Free lodging for the duration of project $75 a day per-diem Flights to Fairbanks Alaska and back home upon completion provided from any U.S. location. Weekly pay Overtime opportunities (x1.5 pay)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding, cutting, and Maintenance. Read and follow drawings to plan and execute next-phase tasks. Use various welding methods, including dual shield MIG and 6010 & 7018 stick welding. QC your work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards. Follow jobsite safety procedures and help keep a clean, hazard-free work zone Assist with other jobsite duties as directed by site supervisors

Requirements:

Proficiency with Stick and MIG welding in an industrial environment; D1.1 certification is a plus. Ability to work at heights in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments Must have a valid driver's license. Must pass a background check and drug screening (required for mine site access). Flexibility to work extended hours, shifts, weekends, and nightshift as necessary.
