🏗️ About the Role We're looking for an experienced, safety‑minded Pipefitter to join our team. In this role, you'll install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems across industrial, commercial, or mechanical environments. If you take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and problem‑solving, this is a great opportunity to grow with a company that values skilled trades. 🔨 Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools Install and secure pipes, supports, valves, and fittings Test piping systems for leaks and ensure compliance with safety standards Collaborate with welders, plumbers, and project supervisors Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment Troubleshoot issues and recommend effective solutions 🧰 Required Qualifications Proven experience as a pipefitter (industrial, commercial, or mechanical) Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation methods Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Proficiency with pipefitting tools and equipment Understanding of safety regulations and best practices Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in various environments High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification preferred ⭐ Preferred Skills Welding experience or certification Experience with stainless steel, carbon steel, or copper systems Familiarity with HVAC, fire suppression, or process piping Strong communication and teamwork abilities Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tuscaloosa, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
