Job Duties:
Read, interpret, and execute blueprints. Lay and install water, wastewater and drainage mains for residential and commercial projects. Lay and install
D.I., PVC, HDPE, RCP
; sizes ranging from 1" to 60". Set-up and use of transit, pipe laser, and power / hand tools. Meets job completion deadlines. Performs job duties safely and efficiently following company and OSHA safety procedures Work as a team.
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 50 pounds Operate light equipment Load and unload construction materials May need to work in positions, such as bending, kneeling, or crouching, to install pipes or fittings Must have good manual dexterity to work with small tools and fittings and perform tasks that require precision and attention to detail Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and cold temperatures
Work Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in civil construction. 1 year+ in the installation of water, wastewater and drainage mains, residential and commercial. 1 year+ working knowledge and execution in laying D.I., PVC, HDPE, RCP and Concrete pipe. Working knowledge of power and hand tools required for the installation of mains. OSHA safety training in trenching/excavation and confined spaces is a plus Applicants will be required to pass a drug test High school diploma or equivalent preferred Valid driver's license
