Job Description

Job Duties Responsible for daily Pre-Task Planning of work performed in the field Assist journeyman pipefitters or peers with the demolition, de-installation, rigging, fitting, and/or installation of equipment, supports, and pipe on site Communicate clearly verbally, digitally, and in writing Follow all safety rules and regulations Proactively receive mentoring from a journeyman pipefitter or Supervisors Use hand and power tools with proper certification Over the four-year period of the apprenticeship, learn and apply knowledge of the following: Layout, fabrication, assembly, and installation of piping systems Making and reading isometric drawings Reading construction plans and shop drawings for pipe systems Inspecting and testing piping systems Piping industry codes May be required to take Pipefitter Journeyman License Test after four years May be required to travel Maintain a good attendance record and comply with apprenticeship program requirements Maintain a record of on-the-job training and submit to apprenticeship program as required Other duties, as assigned Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED required Previous construction experience OSHA 10 preferred Must successfully complete background check and drug/alcohol testing Must have personal hand tools May be required to register with the appropriate apprenticeship board as an apprentice pipefitter or welder May be required to take specialty training Perks & Benefits Competitive and top-market wages Health, dental, and vision insurance Continuous training opportunities Career growth and development opportunities Personal Leave 401(k) plan Education tuition reimbursement Gym membership reimbursement And much more Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
