Laborer Pipe Layer - Underground Utilities

Job Overview Small utility/ civil company looking for motivated laborer/pipelayer. People who are willing to work hard and stand out will be rewarded and grow with the company. We perform a variety of projects, and must be willing to jump in and assist wherever needed. Responsibilities Assist excavator checking grade and using a shovel Run hydrovac Lay ductile and c900 waterline, install fittings, megalugs Install conduit and sweeps on dry utility projects Perform concrete finishing tasks as needed for pipeline installations Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition. Maintain a clean and organized worksite at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in pipelaying or a related field. Knowledge of concrete finishing practices is desirable. Strong attention to detail Strong familiarity with pipeline systems and installation methods. Including shut downs and tie-ins. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Commitment to safety protocols and practices on the job site. - CDL is a plus
