We are currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our fabrication and field installation team. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing piping systems and structural components used in commercial HVAC and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate has experience working with various metals and welding methods in construction or mechanical environments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and Stick methods on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials Fabricate and install piping systems for HVAC and plumbing applications Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and shop drawings Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to specifications Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper operation Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines Collaborate with project managers, pipefitters, and installers on job sites Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and compliance standards Minimum Requirements Minimum 2-3 years of welding experience, preferably in commercial HVAC or plumbing environments Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and piping systems Strong understanding of welding safety practices and OSHA standards Ability to pass welding tests as required Physically able to lift 50+ lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in varying conditions (shop and field) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS (American Welding Society) certification or equivalent Experience on commercial construction job sites Familiarity with HVAC systems, piping layouts, and plumbing codes Basic fabrication and layout skills
Required Skills:

  • Understanding of piping, HVAC, and plumbing system functionality Basic Math Skills
  • Ability to work with measurements, fractions, and calculations for cutting and fitting materials Tool Proficiency
  • Experience safely using hand tools and power tools; willingness to learn new equipment Blueprint Reading
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and weld symbols (or willingness to learn) Attention to Detail
  • Precision in measuring, cutting, welding, and assembly to ensure quality and safety Physical Stamina
  • Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks Problem-Solving Skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot fabrication and installation challenges in the field Communication Skills
  • Ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors Time Management
  • Dependable and able to stay on schedule to meet project deadlines Safety Mindset
  • Strong commitment to following OSHA standards and company safety procedures Monday-Friday and availability for nights and/or weekends
