Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Civil Construction Pipe Layer and play a vital role in laying the foundation for essential infrastructure projects. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your skills in pipe installation, heavy equipment operation, and site preparation. As a key contributor, you will ensure that pipelines and utility systems are installed accurately and efficiently, supporting community development and industrial growth. Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to prepare sites and install pipelines Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings to ensure precise pipe placement Lay out and install pipelines for utilities including water, sewer, oil & gas, ensuring alignment with project specifications Conduct concrete finishing and forming work around pipeline installations to secure proper support structures Use pipe lasers and utility locating tools to verify accurate pipe positioning and avoid underground hazards Perform welding tasks on pipes or related components to ensure secure connections and durability Assist with concrete forming and finishing around pipeline trenches for structural integrity Maintain safety standards by adhering to construction site protocols and operating equipment responsibly Requirements Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and front loader trucks on construction sites Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, pipe laser use, utility locating, and pipeline installation techniques Skilled in concrete finishing, forming, welding, and plumbing related to pipeline projects Familiarity with construction safety practices and ability to work in physically demanding environments Construction site experience within the oil & gas or utility sectors is highly desirable Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Valid certifications or licenses for heavy equipment operation are preferred If you're energized by building infrastructure that powers communities and industries alike—this is your chance to make a difference!
