Job Description

Amplify Energy Corp. is an upstream company focused on the acquisition, production, and development of oil and gas properties in the United States. We are focused on maintaining production across our high-quality asset base and executing our strategic priorities. This position is located on our Offshore Platform in Federal Waters. Key Responsibilities Responsible for installing, fitting, and assembling welded pipes used in the oil field industry. Able to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Measure cut prep and lay out process pipe Ensure welding quality meets codes and standard Inspect welds for defects Work with tools such as grinders, torches, pipe threaders, and welding machines Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Good math, measurement, and problem-solving skills Strong knowledge of pipe layout, and welding technics Follows safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Physical and Working Conditions Offshore oil platform environment exposed to weather, noise, moving equipment, and confined spaces. Rotational schedule 14/14 Extended work schedules may be required. Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, and carrying equipment or materials up to 50 lbs. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience). Basic computer skills with experience using MS Office, Outlook, and internet applications. Ability to pass required offshore safety training, physical examination, and drug/alcohol screening. This position is located on an offshore oil platform in Federal waters off the coast of Southern California.
