Fire Sprinkler Pipe Fitter (Apprentice / Junior Level)

Southern California (Various Job Sites Throughout SoCal)

Full-timeJob SummaryWe are looking for a reliable Fire Sprinkler Pipe Fitter who knows the basics of the trade. You do not need to be a master fitter yet, but you must have a strong foundation and a willingness to learn. This role requires traveling to various commercial and residential job sites throughout Southern California. You will work alongside experienced fitters to install, modify, and maintain fire protection systems.
Key Responsibilities Follow directions:
Execute daily tasks exactly as instructed by the Foreman or Lead Fitter.
Basic fitting:
Cut, thread, groove, and assemble steel and CPVC pipe.
Material handling:
Load, unload, and organize tools, pipes, and fittings on the job site.
Site safety:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Clear communication:
Report progress, ask clarifying questions, and update the team on any issues. Qualifications & Skills Trade basics: Clear understanding of pipe fitting hand tools, power tools, and basic materials.
Coachability:
Ability to take constructive feedback and follow specific blueprints or verbal layouts.
Communication:
Strong verbal skills to coordinate safely with teammates and other trades on site.
Travel & Reliability:
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel to different sites throughout SoCal.
Physical stamina:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work overhead.
Credentials:
A valid California Fire Sprinkler Fitter Card (or registration) is preferred but not mandatory. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on your current experience. $25.00 - $55.00 per hour
