We are seeking experienced Mechanica l Pipefitters for a project in Denver, CO. Pay ranges from $32 - $48 depending on experience.
Requirements:
Install, secure, remove process piping (Ductile iron, Stainless, PVC, HDPE) Work with flanged pipe, fittings, Victaulic systems and any other mechanical joints Read and interpret lay, shop drawings Maintain clean organized work areas Layout, set elevations, centerlines, etc.. Keep track of equipment hours Keep track of quantities Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to work in confined and or elevated spaces Water/ Wastewater experience is preferred. 2+ years of mechanical pipefitting experience (Industrial, Manufacturing)
Qualifications:
Pay rate is determined on current level of knowledge and experience Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications Able to create a safe working environment, and understands OSHA regulations Ability to take off and communicate tool and material requirements to the supervisor Must have experience setting mechanical equipment including boilers, pumps, expansion tanks, dirt/air separators, and heat exchanges Ability to set up and perform piping tests Must have reliable transportation to job-site. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work well with others Ability to identify potential issues during installation and elevate them to Foreman/Gen Foreman Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
