This is a leadership role, overseeing foremen and plumbing crews to ensure commercial or industrial projects are completed safely, on budget and up to code. Projects are primarily on the Colorado Front Range from CO Springs to Ft Collins, Denver Metro and surrounding area, Ft Morgan and Brush. We also have projects in Cheyenne and on the western slope. Our office is in Evans so you will need to interview here. We specialize in Plumbing, Hydronic Heating and Chilled Water Piping, Process Piping, Certified Welding, Radiant Heat, Snow Melt Systems, Steam & and; Condensate, Condenser Water, Boilers, Chillers, Pumps, Tanks, Water Heaters, Compressed Air, High Pressure Piping, etc. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Review project plans, specifications, and addenda for plumbing & hydronic scope. Use approved submittals, manufacturer installation instructions. Reconcile installation from plans, details, isometrics, specifications & submittals. Material, Equipment, Rental EQ scheduling projects demands. Planning and execution with Foremen, Journeymen & Apprentice help/crews. Project schedule, onsite sub meetings and coordination with GC/Owner Assist PMs with change order pricing and material cost impacts. Ensure compliance with project specifications and approved manufacturer lists. Identify value engineering opportunities where applicable. Maintain organized digital documentation and procurement logs. Daily Logs, Timecards, Test Records, Quality Control ________________________________________ Required Experience 10+ years of commercial or industrial experience in a plumbing/hydronic environment. Experience running projects with and without help.
Strong knowledge of:
o All commercial plumbing systems o Hydronic System installation, preferred o Pipe Fitting, layout for welder o OSHA Safety Standards o Boilers (condensing & non-condensing) o Pumps & Hydronic Accessories o Process piping components Experience reading commercial construction drawings & specifications. Strong understanding of submittal process and approval workflows. Experience supporting commercial construction projects (not residential). Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Drivers License with clean driving record. ________________________________________ Software Skills Bluebeam (required) Microsoft Excel (cost tracking, quote leveling) Microsoft Word Experience with Procore, Fieldwire, Outlook, Autodesk Cloud, or similar construction management software Trimble Total Station Operation Layout ________________________________________ Performance Expectations Hands on installation and/or lead Foreman and Journeymen crews. Superior communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Meet project schedules. Maintain cost control within estimated hours. Coordinate with shop for timely material releases to prevent field delays. Equipment Operations; Mini Excavator, Skid Steer, Telehandler, Boom Lifts Complete the project from start to finish including start-up, commissioning, owner training, punch list, warranty, closeout documentation. ________________________________________ Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
