Licensed Glazier

Connecticut based glass company with a longstanding reputation is seeking a skilled Glazier to install interior frames, glass doors, curtain wall and store front systems, windows, skylights, glass railings and other architectural glass products, while maintaining the highest safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications:

Must be able to understand blueprint drawings and specifications, measure and layout openings for frame installation, load, unload materials and operate power tools. Have a working knowledge of door hardware. Handle and set large pieces of glass. Must have experience and certification to operate boom and scissor lifts. Must have good communication skills. Must have the ability to work in harmony and in a professional manner with others and take work with field foreman / supervisor and owners. All work is performed in the safest manner possible following OSHA and company safety criteria.

Requirements:

Connecticut FG-2 license and at least five years of experience. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Current and Valid Driver's License and clean history and have reliable transportation. Background check and drug and alcohol testing required.
