Here's why the total package significantly exceeds market rates for comparable roles: Up to $200/day per diem — every day on assignment for food and lodging (tax-advantaged in most cases). Consistent, generous overtime — often 50-60+ hour weeks during active project phases. Rental vehicle provided per job; you arrange the company-paid passenger van for your crew on longer projects. Automatic 10% base-pay raises at 6, 12, and 18 months — compounding to approximately 33% higher base within 18 months, plus performance increases on top.Result:
Your effective daily rate and total take-home routinely outperform traditional foreman or lead-tech roles that offer only straight time with no per diem, no vehicle support, and no structured raises.
