Pipe Foreperson Requirements:
2-Years Experience minimum No minimum education required Access to transportation Driver's License Must have experience working around underground utilities and in active construction zones.
Drug Testing Reference Check Motor Vehicle Record Check Responsibilities:
As the leader of the pipe crew, the pipe foreperson's primary purpose is to directly supervise and coordinate activities of the field employees. Safety of the crew under his/her direction. Proficient in operating various large and small equipment and plan reading. Assess competency and capability of employees on the project and evaluate capabilities of each crew member. Accountable for following project plans, schedules, and production goals. Responsible to maintain employee time reporting and the preparation of any other 4C'S reports. Work directly with the pipe layer to safely dig trenches to required depths. Assist with backfill with suitable, compactable in required lifts. Regularly check and clean equipment to preserve quality and functionality as well as report needs for larger repairs to the appropriate parties. Abide by company, local, state, and federal procedures safety regulations.
