This role is vital in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects by performing a wide range of tasks, including operating heavy machinery, assisting with manual labor, and supporting pipeline and utility installations. The ideal candidate will be energetic, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to dynamic construction environments. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on skills across multiple construction disciplines while working with a collaborative team. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as excavators and skid steers to move materials and prepare sites efficiently. Preform manual labor tasks such as hand digging, loading and unloading materials. Conduct utility locating to identify underground pipes, cables, and pipelines before excavation begins. Support pipeline installation projects by handling pipe laser alignment and related tasks. Support plumbing installations and maintenance on-site, ensuring adherence to safety standards. Assist with construction site setup, cleanup, and organization to maintain a safe working environment. Experience Prior experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, excavators, or similar machinery is highly preferred. Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of utility locating, pipeline work, or plumbing is advantageous. Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction environments. Familiarity with construction tools such as pipe lasers, welding equipment, and forklifts is a plus. Strong teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to safety and problem-solving are essential for success in this role.
