Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with the projects and service teams completing a wide range of tasks including: stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, aluminum fitting and welding.
- Read and understand technicial drawings and P&ID's
- Perform pipe prep, bending, cutting, threading, welding activities in all manner of commercial and industrial facilities such as, food and beverage manufacturing, pharmaceutical, hospitality, etc.
- Perform work on a wide range of systems including ammonia, chilled water, process, etc.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with other technicians and our subcontractors on larger projects
- Keep accurate records of work performed
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of technician documents and systems
- Strong knowledge of piping principles and ability to think of the go.
- Mechanical aptitude for repairing and maintaining equipment.
- Familiarity with Commercial HVAC systems and process systems.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations and handle emergency repairs
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
