Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pipefitter and become a vital contributor to the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems across diverse industrial and construction environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with skilled tradespeople, utilize advanced welding techniques, and ensure the integrity of piping infrastructure in compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will help keep projects on track, safe, and efficient, fueling progress and innovation every day. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems. Cut, thread, bend, solder, and weld pipes using various techniques including MIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG welding, and Miami welding to meet project specifications. Commercial HVAC piping, pipeline networks, plumbing fixtures, and other mechanical systems following ASME codes & standards. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and rigging equipment to precisely measure, cut, fit, and secure pipes in complex configurations. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on piping systems to ensure optimal performance; conduct repairs as needed. Follow safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing facilities to maintain a secure working environment. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to review schematics and ensure proper assembly according to technical requirements. Skills Proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, soldering, and welding techniques. Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, pipe isometric drawings, and technical manuals. Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, tube bending, rigging operations, and system assembly. Familiarity with ASME codes & standards for piping fabrication and installation. Experience working on construction sites or manufacturing facilities with a focus on plumbing, HVAC systems, or pipeline projects. Skilled in using hand tools such as calipers and power tools for precise pipe fitting. Knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations during installation processes.
