GCUC is a leader in Construction - Underground utilities and site work with a reputation for high-quality craftsmanship and safety. We are looking for reliable, experienced pipelayers to join our team. If you have a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!

No Job Responsibilities:
Install and maintain underground pipelines for water, sewer, and stormwater systems. Operate a variety of tools and machinery (e.g., pipe laser, demo saw, backhoes, excavators). Ensure proper pipe alignment and slope for water flow. Excavate trenches to the required depth and backfill after installation. Follow blueprints, construction plans, and safety protocols. Work closely with other team members to ensure efficiency and safety on job sites. Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Assist with loading and unloading materials and tools.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Underground Utility Pipelayer or in a similar role. Knowledge of underground utility installation processes and materials. Ability to ready and understand construction plans and blueprints. Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions. Familiarity with construction tools and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with precision. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. OSHA or safety certifications are a plus. MUST be able to access military installations. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations None.
Work Environment:
Willingness to work 50+ hours a week, including out-of-doors under varying climatic conditions. Noise level is high. Employee may experience occasional pressure due to multiple tasks and deadlines.
