We are seeking dependable and hardworking Field Crew Members with experience in wastewater treatment systems, lift stations, and underground utility construction to join our growing field operations team. Position Summary The Field Crew Member is responsible for assisting with the installation, construction, and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems, lift stations, pump stations, and underground utility infrastructure. This role works under the direction of the Foreman and Superintendent to safely complete field construction activities while maintaining productivity, quality workmanship, and compliance with project specifications. The ideal candidate has hands-on construction experience, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outdoor construction environment. Key Responsibilities Installation & Construction Install pumps, piping, valves, tanks, and wastewater treatment system components. Perform excavation, trenching, backfilling, and grading activities. Assist with setting structures and underground utilities. Follow construction drawings, specifications, and Foreman instructions. Support installation activities for lift stations, pump stations, and utility systems. Equipment Operation Safely operate construction equipment and tools as certified and authorized. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Perform basic equipment inspections before use. Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials. Quality & Workmanship Ensure accurate measurements and proper installation techniques. Report errors, damaged materials, or discrepancies immediately. Assist with testing, start-up, and commissioning activities. Maintain high standards of workmanship and job site quality. Safety Compliance Follow OSHA and company safety policies and procedures. Wear required PPE at all times. Participate in daily safety meetings and toolbox talks. Report unsafe conditions, near misses, or incidents immediately. Teamwork & Productivity Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and project schedules. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Assist team members as needed to complete project tasks. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Qualifications Minimum 1-3 years of experience in construction, underground utilities, wastewater treatment, or lift station installation preferred. Basic understanding of piping systems, pumps, valves, and underground utility construction. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and physical conditions. Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to travel to project sites as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience with wastewater treatment plants or lift station construction. Equipment operation experience preferred. OSHA 10 certification preferred. CDL license is a plus.
