Pipe Layer/Laborer

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining pipelines that transport water, sewer, and storm. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. Duties Install, repair, and maintain pipelines for various utilities including water and gas. Work as a hill man, providing men in the ditch with any material or supplies they need. Hooking up and guiding the pipe into the hole. Operate heavy machinery such as a front loader or off-road dump truck to assist in installation tasks. Utilize pipe lasers for precise alignment of pipes during installation. Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground services before excavation. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Skills Proficient in operating heavy equipment including front loader trucks. Knowledge of utility locating practices to avoid damage to existing services. Familiarity with pipeline construction methods and materials. Capability to plumb pipes accurately for effective drainage and flow. Understanding of pipe laser operation for precise installation.
