Truck Driver Class A/B Pay:

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including flatbed, dump truck, roll off truck, and refrigerated trailer.
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic automotive repairs as needed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Qualifications:
- MUST know how to drive a manual transmission.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role.
- Knowledge of various truck types and their specific requirements (e.g., flatbed, dump truck, roll off truck).
- Familiarity with route driving and efficient navigation techniques.
- Ability to safely operate and maneuver large vehicles in different weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.

General Requirements:
Practice safety rules. Follow verbal and written instructions. Safe use of hand & power tools. Report to and assist immediate supervisor. Perform quality work as determined by project specifications. Accountable for all tools and materials at the end of your shift. Must work well as part of a team.Functional Requirements:
Measure distance from grade stakes. Drive stakes. Stretch tight line. Grade stacks from lumber for reuse. Level earth to fine grade specifications with shovel to assist in pipe laying, and preparing sub grades and other excavations. Direct other laborers in dumping concrete into forms. Erect shoring and braces and paints pipe joints with sealing compound. Assist in setting pumps and setting well-points. May assist heavy construction equipment operator in aligning and moving equipment such as cranes, power shovels and backhoes, verifying grades and signaling operators to adjust machines to conform to grade specifications. Directs truck drivers and scraper operators to dumping positions to maintain grades as directed by Grading Foreman or Dumping Foreman. Work in a concrete paving crew, pipe crew or dirt crew. Adding to or removing concrete from in front of concrete finishing machines so that correct grade will be met. Understanding basic pipe crew needs. Occasionally use small power tools.
